The film was showered with awards at international and national festivals, including the Golden Lions at the 34th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, the FIPRESCI Award at the Warsaw Film Festival (2009), the Bronze Frog for Marcin Koszałka at Camerimage (2009), the Silver Jerzy at the International Film Festival in Moscow (2010), the Main Award at the Review of Polish Films in Moscow, the Grand Jury Prize in Seattle (2010) and many more.
